Complete nature-loving activities within the Notice Nature Activity Passport or Notice Nature Activity Cards and submit to a participating library location to collect Notice Nature Guidebook prizes. While supplies last!

The Notice Nature program provides self-directed nature activities for participants. To provide a lasting resource, Notice Nature, in partnership with EcoFriendly West, have developed a set of guidebooks providing background information and tools for identifying some of Saskatchewan's most common birds, plants, insects, mammals, reptiles, and more!

The information in these guidebooks has been extracted from/based on Nature Companion, an entry-level nature website and app for Canada's four western provinces. The free website and app were developed by EcoFriendly West and introduce over 300 trees, plants, insects, reptiles, animals, and birds found in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. It provides short, easy-to-understand descriptions and colourful photographs.

Notice Nature wishes to acknowledge with warmest thanks Penny McKinlay and Andrew McKinlay (EcoFriendly West) who made this publication possible by sharing their extraordinary work at Nature Companion and providing editing support.

Copies of these guidebooks are available for sponsors and partners to purchase and distribute at $3/copy.

Please contact us if you wish to place an order.
